Man Utd & Liverpool target Gundogan does 'not know when' he will decide his future

Borussia Dortmund’s in-demand midfielder Ilkay Gündoğan has stated that he is yet to make a decision regarding his long-term future.

The 25-year-old reiterated that he wants to deal with the situation in a ‘respectful’ way.

“I want to deal with this situation in a respectful way and will sit down with the Dortmund management first and make a decision,” Gündoğan told Sport Bild.

“But I do not know when that moment will be yet.”

The Germany international has been linked with Liverpool since the appointment of his former manager Jurgen Klopp last month. Dortmund rejected an approach from Manchester United earlier on in the season according to the German newspaper Express.

The report states that the Serie A giants want to negotiate a €20 million deal while Dortmund are holding out for €25 million.

Dortmund sit in second place in the Bundesliga with 29 points in 13 games. Gündoğan has provided five assists and scored two goals in 23 appearances for Dortmund this season.
