Hakan Çalhanoğlu was the shining star in Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-1 victory over BATE Borisov in the UEFA Champions League.

The Turkish international scored his sides second goal in the 47th minute and found the back of the net from the penalty spot on minute 76.

Leverkusen moved into first place in Group E following their victory. The Bundesliga side take on Barcelona in their next Champions League fixture.
