Man Utd send scouts to watch €15m target Simon Kjaer

Manchester United sent scouts to watch Fenerbahce defender Simon Kjaer during his international friendly for Denmark against Iceland according to Fanatik.

Denmark ended up winning the game 2-1 with Kjaer putting on a performance that was bound to have impressed his scouts.

PSG and Atletico Madrid were also reported to have send scouts to keep tabs on the Denmark international.

The report claims that Fenerbahce want €15 million for the powerful defender who joined the club on a €8 million deal from French side Lille over the summer.

Kjaer has established himself as a first-team regular in the Fenerbahce side scoring once in 35 appearances for the Yellow Canaries in all competitions.

The 27-year-old defender has one goals and two assists in 57 international appearances for the Danish national team.

Fenerbahce are currently second in the Turkish Super League four points behind leaders Besiktas but have a game in hand.

The Canaries take on Osmanlispor next on Sunday 3 April at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium where they are unbeaten this season.
