Man Utd set to give Fenerbahce target second chance

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is prepared to give Juan Mata a second chance despite reports claiming that the club had transfer listed the attacking midfielder.

Mourinho is reported to have given Mata the chance to prove himself over the pre-season period before deciding on his future according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims that the Portuguese international will give Mata as well as fringe players Marouane Fellaini and Daley Blind a last chance over the pre-season.

The Daily Record meanwhile claim that Mata along with Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind have been put up for sale and that United will listen to offers.

Sport report that La Liga outfit Villarreal are keen on Mata while the Express report that Turkish giants Fenerbahce and Everton are interested.

The Express are reporting that the Red Devils are willing to consider offers in the region of £20 million for the Spanish international.
