Man Utd star dropped from squad could be set for summer exit, Turkish giants plot move

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger was not included in the squad that travelled to China.

The move was perceived as a sign that he could be on his way out however, it is worth noting that the experienced midfielder is currently on his honeymoon after marrying tennis star Ana Ivanovic earlier this month.

Schweinsteiger was also in the Germany national team squad that reached the Euro 2016 semi-finals and is entitled for a rest as a result.

The Manchester Evening News do however, report that his days at Old Trafford could be numbered.

Besiktas are plotting a move for the 31-year-old midfielder according to the the Daily Star.

The Black Eagles want the experienced midfielder on loan to bolster the squad going into the Champions League next season.

Per the source, Schweinsteiger, Adnan Januzaj, Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia and Phil Jones all face an uncertain future at the club over the summer.
