Man Utd star states he is not leaving despite club trying to push him out, Turkish giants pushed out of race

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has confirmed that he will not be leaving the club despite efforts to force him out.

The 32-year-old sent out a tweet regarding his current situation and made it abundantly clear that he is going nowhere.

Schweinsteiger has been banished to the reserves by head coach Jose Mourinho who has no plans for the experienced midfielder this season.

The former World Cup winner has eight Bundesliga titles and a Champions League win to his name but made just 13 starts for United last season and has been dropped going into the 2016-17 campaign.

It is perhaps little surprise that he wants to leave as the Daily Star reports that he stands to make £17 million over the next two seasons at the Red Devils.

United are prepared sell the German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger for just £2 million according to the German tabloid Bild.

According to Bild, United want to cut their losses on Schweinsteiger in order to sell him as fast as possible to free up the wage bill for the signing of Southampton defender Jose Fonte.

Galatasaray were prepared to offer a lifeline after expressing an interes in bringing in the experienced midfielder on a temporary move a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.
