Man Utd step up efforts to sign Fernando Muslera as four keepers want out

Manchester United will step-up efforts to sign Galatasaray’s Fernando Muslera following reports that four goalkeepers at Old Trafford want to leave according to the Daily Star.

The report states that the futures of David de Gea, Anders Lindegaard, Victor Valdes and Sam Johnstone are all unresolved.

Da Gea has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid while Victor Valdes, Anders Lindegaard and Sam Johnstone all want out after failing to break into the starting line-up.

The Daily Star goes onto say that the Netherlands international keeper Jasper Cillessen is also on United’s radar.

The Metro reported that the Red Devils are preparing to launch a £24.5 million bid to sign Galatasaray’s Muslera.

Galatasaray want to keep hold of Muslera but could be forced into considering such a substantial offer.

Muslera played a key role in the Lions winning the league for a record 20th time last season and earning the right to wear a fourth star – Galatasaray also won the double for a record sixth time.

The experienced keeper has won three league titles at the Lions and also the Copa America with Uruguay.
