Man Utd striker Ibrahimovic set to take on former coach on Saturday

Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to make his unofficial debut on Saturday against Turkish giants Galatasaray in Sweden.

The game will see Ibrahimovic take on a side coached by a familiar face in Jan Olde Riekerink.

Riekerink was a coach at Ajax during Ibrahimovic’s time at the Dutch giants and will now take on a side managed by his former teacher.

The recently appointed Lions manager revealed that he is looking forward to meeting Ibrahimovic again and asked if he could recommend Messi and Suarez to join.

“It wouldn’t be bad if he brought Messi and Suarez over for us,” Riekerink joked at his pre-match press conference.

Ibrahimovic has been included in the United squad for the first time since joining the Red Devils from PSG. The Swedish international missed the Red Devils recent trip to China.

The full Manchester United squad is as follows:

De Gea, Johnstone, Romero, Valencia, Darmian, Jones, Rojo, Bailly, Blind, Shaw, Herrera, Fellaini, Mkhitaryan, Young, Schneiderlin, Carrick, Mata, Lingard, Memphis, Ibrahimovic, Rooney, Martial, Rashford.
