Man Utd striker Van Persie will complete Fenerbahce move in signing ceremony tomorrow

Fenerbahçe have released a statement confirming that Robin Van Persie will complete his move from Manchester United to the club on Tuesday 14 July at 18:00 (local time).

The statement read: “Robin van Persie will be unveiled in an official signing ceremony at 18:00 (local time) at the Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium. The event will be open the fans.”

Van Persie arrived in Turkey yesterday on a private chartered jet provided by Fenerbahçe and was welcomed by thousands of fans who turned out to greet the star striker at the Sabiha Gökçen airport.

The 31-year-old striker has become the second player to join the Yellow Canaries from United over the course of the week.

Nani joined the Istanbul giants on a £4.3 million move last Monday in a signing ceremony held in-front of thousands of fans at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium.

Fenerbahçe have now made a total of eight transfers this season including Lille defender Simon Kjaer, Brazil international Josef De Souza and last seasons Super Lig goal king Fernandao.
