The Turkish international goalkeeper Mert Günok has agreed personal terms with Bursaspor.
The Green Crocodiles have reached an agreement on a three-year deal keeping him at the club until July 2018.
The 26-year-old keeper will join Bursaspor following a medical on Monday.
Bursaspor released a statement on their official website confirming the news.
The statement reads, “We have agreed a three-year deal with Mert Gunok. Mert will undergo a medical examination with the club on Monday 22 July 2015.”
According to the newspaper Metro, the Red Devils were considering a move for the former Fenerbahce’s shot-stopper in the summer.
Mert left Fenerbahce last week after his contact with the Istanbul giants expired.
The 26-year-old has conceded 14 goals in 14 appearances for Fenerbahçe this season. Mert has also kept a total of four clean sheets in all competitions.
Fenerbahçe finished last seasons as runners up in the Süper Lig and booked a place in the Champions League play-off stages.
