Bursaspor midfielder Ozan Tufan has revealed that he wants to stay at Bursaspor until the end of the season.
“This is my city, I was born and raised here, I rose through the ranks of the Bursaspor youth system and now play for the senior team and national team, it is an honour to play here,” Tufan told Turkish media group, Ihlas News Agency.
“I have not received any official offers and plan to stay here this season.”
Manchester United have been closely linked with Tufan in the English and Turkish press.
Tufan’s father confirmed last week that scouts from Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, AC Milan and Juventus have sent scouts to keep close tabs on his son.
“Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play…AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United,” Mehmet Tufan told Spanish newspaper AS.
The 19-year-old midfielder has established himself as a first team regular for Bursaspor and has already scored for the senior Turkish national team.
Bursaspor value Tufan at €10 million and recently rejected bids from Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor who tabled offers in the region of €5 million.
Tufan midfielder has two goals and two assists in 18 appearances for Bursaspor this season and still has three-years left on his contract.
The young midfielder made his international debut on 21 May 2014 and already has nine caps and one goal for Turkey.
