Man Utd winger Nani asks Fernandes about Istanbul ahead of reported Fenerbahce move

Former Beşiktaş midfielder Manuel Fernandes has revealed that Nani has been asking him about Istanbul in a radio interview with Radio Rennasain.

Fenerbahçe are reported to have agreed terms with Nani after sporting director Giulliano Terraneo held talks with football agent Federico Pastorello earlier in the week.

Nani is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Thursday complete his move to Fenerbahçe if Manchester United accept the Istanbul giants €8 million bid according to the Hurriyet.

The Yellow Canaries are reported to have offered Nani a four-year deal worth in the region of €3.5 million per-season.

The Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder who has been on holiday with Nani in the Algarve spoke to Radio Rennasain’s about the future of the Portuguese international.

“He [Nani] has asked me questions about Istanbul. I explained to him the pros and cons about moving to Istanbul,” Nani was quoted as saying by LigTV.

Fernandes was a childhood friend of Nani and enjoyed a successful spell at cross-city rivals Beşiktaş winning the Turkish Cup with the Black Eagles.
