Manchester United winger Nani hinted that he will not return to Sporting Lisbon next season according to the Fanatik.
Nani spent the season on loan with the Portuguese giants scoring 12 and providing eight assists in all competitions last season.
“I am a professional; I cannot guarantee that I will return sometimes life gives you other options.” Nani told Fanatik.
The 28-year-old winger has been closely linked with a move to Fenerbahçe after his agent Federico Pastorello entered direct talks with club sporting director Giulliani Terraneo in Istanbul last week.
The negotiations are reported to have been a success and Nani is expected to join the Yellow Canaries some time this week.
The Sun reported that Fenerbahçe have made an €8 million bid and offered Nani a four year deal worth in the region on €3.5 million per-season.
Fenerbahçe finished last season in second place and booked a place in the Champions League play-off round.
The Istanbul giants have made sweeping changes over the summer appointing Terraneo as sporting director, Vitor Pereira as manager and signing Simon Kjaer from Lille.
