Manchester City – Liverpool: Expected Starting Line-Ups – Emre Can set to start

Liverpool team news Emre Can

Liverpool take on Manchester City at the Etihad stadium hoping to get back on travel after the 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace before the international break.

The defeat was the Reds first under the stewardship of recently appointed manager Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp has an important decision to make whether to place Emre Can as he was playing during Germany international friendly against France at the Stade De Paris when the attacks in the French capital took place.

Can was reportedly shaken by the incident but Klopp believes he will get over it and he should be able to play.

City are likely to be without Sergio Aguero and David Silva while Vincent Company, Fabian Delh, Samir Nasri, Pablo Zabaleta and Wilfried Bony remain doubts.

The Premeir League leaders are unbeaten at home against the Reds in their last six Premier League games and have won 12 of their last 13 home matches.
