Mesut Ozil has been left out of Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up which takes on Manchester City today in the Premier League.

The Gunners take on Manchester City today in a crucial encounter which can see the Gunners secure a top three finish. A win for Arsenal can bring them level on points with second placed Tottenham.

City are without their star defender and captain Vincent Kompany after he suffered a calf injury during the Citizen’s defeat to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

Ozil has enjoyed an impressive season for the Gunners this season so far. The 27-year-old has recorded 18 assists and with two games to go still has a chance of equalling the Premier League record of 20 set by Thierry Henry.
