Manchester City v Liverpool Confirmed lineups

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has recalled Roberto Firmino to the starting lineup for today’s clash with Manchester City.

City host Liverpool at the Etihad stadium with kick-off is scheduled for 16:30 (GMT).

The German tactician has stuck with the midfield trio of Emre Can, Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana. Brazil international Firmino returns to the attacking lineup with Mane and Coutinho.

Liverpool can go eight points clear of Arsenal if they record a win over City today. Jurgen Klopp’s side can also overtake Manchester City and move into third spot should they win today.

Dejan Lovren has returned to the Liverpool squad however, Klopp has decided to start the Croatia intenrational on the bench.

City have been in good form of late however, have lost five of their last six Premier League meetings with Liverpool.
