Gene were defeated 3-2 by Oostende in the Belgium Pro League but there was still some cause for celebration especially for Manchester City fans as on-loan striker Enes Ünal scored his second goal and provided his first assist.
Oostende took a two-goal lead in the first half but Ünal almost led a comeback scoring a header before setting up the equaliser.
The home side did however, manager to score a late winner and take all three points.
Ünal joined City on a £2 million move from Bursaspor over the summer but was loaned out to Genk due to not being permitted a work-permit to play in England.
The Turkish international joined Genk on a two-year loan but City have the right to cut the temporary move short at the end of the season.
The 18-year-old striker is the youngest player to have ever scored in the Turkish Super League aged 16 against Galatasaray.
