Manchester United join Besiktas in the race for Chelsea keeper Petr Cech

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Besiktas target Petr Cech.

According to the Metro, Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has set his sights on Chelsea’s goalkeeper Petr Cech as replacement for David De Gea.

The reports states that De Gea is close to a move to Real Marid meaning the Red Devils will be on the lookout for a new keeper.

Talks between Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech and Besiktas are underway according to Lig TV.

The Turkish Süper Lig broadcasters have stated that Cech’s agent Viktor Kolar has held talks with the Black Eagles.

Cech is reported as wanting regular first team football next season and is expected to move abroad after Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho ruled out a transfer to rival Premier League sides.

Beşiktaş recently signed Demba Ba and Gökhan Töre from Chelsea, both players have gone on to become stars at the Süper Lig outfit.
