Manchester United targets Semih Kaya & Sneijder left out of the starting XI

Reports linking Semih Kaya and Wesley Sneijder with a move away from Galatasaray intensified after the duo were left out of the starting XI in Saturday’s super League clash with Trabzonspor.

Galatasaray went on to lose the game 3-0 and left their supporters wondering why they star players had been omitted from the side.

A report in Eurosport TR has stated that Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal wants to bring both Sneijder and Kaya to the Premier League side in January.

Sneider’s agent Guido Albers expressed his concerns about Cesare Prandelli not starting his client in the 3-0 loss against Trabzonspor on the weekend.

“I do not know why he was sitting on the bench,” Albers said.

“Sneijder wants to stay, but he continues to sit on the bench. Nobody wants to sit on the bench.

“This is Prandelli’s decision. Sneijder can’t do anything.”

The Netherlands international joined Galatasaray from Inter in 2013 for €8 million.

The 30-year-old midfielder has scored three goals in 12 games for Galatasaray this season.
