Manchester United right back Radael da Silva is close to a move to Galatasaray according to a report in the Guardian newspaper.
The report states that the Brazilian international is nearing a move to Turkey following Manchester United’s expected acquisition of the Torino right-back Matteo Darmian.
Rafeal who currently earns approximately £65,000 a week at Old Trafford will be out of contract next summer.
The Red Devil’s are expected to wrap up the Darmian transfer by the end of the week meaning Rafael has been deemed surplus to requirement according to Eurosport.
Galatasaray already have two Brazilian players – Felipe Melo and Alex Telles – and former World Cup winner Claudio Taffarel is the teams goalkeeping coach.
Galatasaray won the league title for a record 20th time last season and booked a place in next seasons Champions League group stages.
