Mario Lemina Arrives In Turkey, Set To Undergo Medical Before Completing Transfer From Southampton To Galatasaray

Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina has arrived at the Istanbul airport, Turkey before completing his transfer to Galatasaray.

Turkish-Football reported earlier today that Lemina will arrive in Turkey before joining Galatasaray on loan.

Lemina arrived in Istanbul just over half an hour ago.

The 26-year-old will travel to the Galatasaray training grounds in Florya after passing through immigration.

Lemina will undergo his medical and then pen a new deal with the Yellow-Reds before the end of the transfer window.

The midfielder has not featured for Southampton this season but does have another three-years remaining on his contract.

The Gabon international has become the 11th transfer to join Galatasaray this summer joining the likes of Radamel Falcao, Ryan Babel, Emre Mor, Steven N’Zonzi and Jean Michael Seri among several others.

Galatasaray will compete in the Champions League this term taking on Real Madrid, PSG and Club Brugge in Group A.

The Lions are currently 9th in the Super Lig on four points after three games.
