Mersin 2 – 1 Galatasaray – Lion's season goes from bad to worse

Mersin 2 – 1 Galatasaray:

Galatasaray’s nightmare season took another turn for the worse today when they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Mersin.

Nakoulma but the home side ahead after 39 minutes while Güven Varol doubled Mersin’s lead midway though the second half.

Galatasaray were down to ten men after Semih Kaya received a second yellow. Lukas Podolski scored a late goal for the visitors in the 88th minute.

The Lion’s remain in third place after their second defeat in three games. Mustafa Denizli’s side will end the week in forth place if Basaksehir win their game in hand this weekend.
