Fenerbahce’s young goalkeeper Mert Gunok is expected to remain at the Istanbul giants after reaching an agreement for a five-year contract.

Mert’s current deal with Fenerbahce comes to an end in July and the 25-year-old is free to talk with other clubs.

However, according to the newspaper Habertürk, Mert and Fenerbahce have reached an agreement and will put pen to paper on a new deal in the coming week.

Mert is currently second choice keeper at Fenerbahçe behind Turkish international Volkan Demirel.
