Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-2 at the Bernabeu with a last-gasp winner from Lionel Messi.
Casemiro scored the opening goal for Real Madrid but Messi equalised just five minutes later.
Ivan Rakitic gave Barcelona the lead with a superb effort from outside the penalty area on 73 minutes.
Barcelona looked to have wrapped up all three points when Real defender Sergio Ramos was sent off minutes later.
However, James Rodriguez scored an equaliser on 85 minutes.
The game look destined for a draw until Messi scored his 500th goal with the last kick of the game
Turkish international attacking midfielder Arda Turan was named in the match day squad but did not get any playing time in the derby.
