“Mesut don’t do that to us” – Arsenal fans distraught as they react to Mesut Ozil to Man United link
The transfer window may have ended last month but Arsenal’s transfer woes appear to be ongoing.
The Gunners failed to land Thomas Lamar on transfer deadline day, sold Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and came close to losing Alexis Sanchez over the summer.
To make matters worse, both Sanchez and Mesut Ozil could be on their way out of the club in 10-months time.
According to the German outlet Bild, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign Ozil for free next summer.
The pair worked together at Real Madrid where they won the Copa del Rey and La Liga together.
Arsenal have a history of offloading their key players to their title rivals with Robin van Persie joining the Red Devils for £24 million back in 2012.
The recent report linking Ozil with a move to Man United have sent Arsenal fans into free fall on social media.

After turning down AFC's offer last season, is anyone really surprised that Ozil is going to leave on a free? Such a shame.

Ozil wouldn't go anywhere in England, he wouldn't do that to us…please Mesut….don't do that to us

Reports from Germany state Ozil will leave on a free when his contract expires. Have a horrible feeling he will go to united.

Nightmare scenario for Ozil enthusiasts who support Wenger, who will they blame when he goes to United on a free?

Ozil leaving is gonna hurt more than Sanchez

If its January and news breaks out Alexis or Ozil signed for a English rival we either have to sell them on cheap or no longer play them

Ozil to United would break my heart more than Fabregas to Barca or Chelsea. #MÖ10

If Ozil goes to United I will legit never watch football ever again

Ozil creates 22% of our chances. He has most made passes. He's a manager on the field. Selling him will result in rebuilding again

will hurt more. Fergie got nothing more out of Van Persie than Wenger did. Jose will get levels out of Ozil. Will quit football
