Mesut Ozil believes Arsenal can defeat Barcelona and win the Champions league

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has stated that he has set his sights on winning both the Premier League and Champions League.

The 27-year-old went onto say that he believes the Gunners do have a chance against last seasons champions Barcelona.

“We want to win the title. And not just the Premier League. We are still in the FA Cup and still in the Champions League,” Ozil told SkySports.

“Against Barcelona, it will be difficult, but in football anything is possible.”

Arsenal host Barcelona at the Emeritus Stadium on Febuary 24 at 19:45. The La Liga giants are top of the Spanish league and are unbeaten in 28 games.

The Gunners are joint second in the Premier League with Tottenham on 48 points each. The London based side is five points behind leaders Leicester City.

Ozil’s side has the opportunity to reduce the gap to just two points when they take on Leicester this weekend in the league.

The Germany international has scored six goals in all competitions this season and has provided 16 assists in the Premier League.
