Mesut Ozil 'glad to assist Arsenal family'

Mesut Ozil took to social media following Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Swansea City in the Premier League yesterday afternoon.

The Germany international posted a picture of himself alongside Olivier Giroud during Saturday’s win.

Ozil included the following caption alongside the image, “Boooom! 3:0 away win! Feeling very glad that we could assist the @arsenal family with another great weekend! #YaGunnersYa #CleanSheet #BPL.”

The Germany international received a rating of 8.13 from whoscored for his role in the win. Özil took one shot on target, made five key passes and provided two assists. The Germany international maintained a passing accuracy of 90%.

Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table following their win over the Swans at the Liberty stadium. Özil now has seven assists in his last five league games – the highest record in the league. The World Cup winner has a total of eight assists and two goals in all competitions this season.
