Mesut Özil has taken to social media to celebrate Arsenal’s victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League earlier today.
The Germany international posted a picture of Aaron Ramsey and himself celebrating during their sides win along with the caption, “Job done! … and at least one night #YaGunnersYa #avfcvafc @arsenal.”
Özil provided his 13th assist of the season and received a rating of 7.5 from WhoScored. Giroud scored the Gunners opening goal in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa. Özil set-up Aaron Ramsey’s strike which doubled his sides lead.
The 27-year-old provided two key passes, made two successful dribbles and maintained a passing accuracy of 88%.
Özil was the games third highest rated player capping off a fantastic week for the Germany international.
The 27-year-old is has won the Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month award for the past two consecutive months and has 12 assist in 14 Premier League games this season.
