Mesut Ozil is a ‘special talent’ according to his Arsenal teammate Tomas Rosicky.

The Czech Republic international has been hampered by injuries this season and has made jus one appearance for the Gunners.

“Mesut was always a special talent and you could see that when he arrived here,” Tomas Rosicky told Arsenal Player.

“He was out for some time last season so he couldn’t find his rhythm, but now, after playing since the start of the season, everyone here can see [how big a talent he is].

Rocicky has made 246 appearances for the Gunners since moving from Borussia Dortmund.

Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madrid for a club record fee of €42 million in September 2013.

Arsenal are currently joint second in the Premier League with Tottenham on 48 points each. The London based side is five points behind leaders Leicester City.

The Gunners have the opportunity to reduce the gap to just two points when they take on Leicester this weekend in the league.

Ozil now has six goals in all competitions this season as well as 16 assists in the Premier League.
