Mesut Ozil played a staring role in Arsenal’s 5-2 victory over Leicester City earlier today in the Premier League.
The Gunners secured their forth win of the season which takes them within three points of leaders Manchester United.
Ozil provided the assist for Arsenal’s third goal via a perfectly placed cross onto Alexis Sanchez’s head.
The former Real Madrid man received a rating of 7.73 from whoscored. Ozil took one shot on target, provided five key passes and made one successful dribble.
Ozil made 59 passes and maintained a passing accuracy of 92% throughout the game.
Leicester were a goal up after 13 minutes when Jamie Vardy found the back of the net. Arsenal hit back with two goals before the break and Ozil provided the assist for his sides third goal in the 57th minute.
Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud scored Arsenal’s two other goals while Vardy score late on for the Foxes.
The Foxes were the only unbeaten side in the Premier League going into the game. Arsenal take on Olympiacos in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night and host their rivals Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium next weekend.
