Mesut Ozil played 83 minutes in Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace today at Selhurst Park.

The Gunners bounced back following their shock 2-0 home loss at the hands of West Ham United last weekend.

Oivier Giroud scored the games first goal in spectacular fashion getting on the end of Ozil’s cross into the box with a scissor kick. Palace were level after Ward equalised in the 28th minute.

Ozil will be glad with his performance following a disappointing display against West Ham last weekend where he was over shadowed by the Hammers 16-year-old defensive midfielder Reece Oxford.

Arsenal’s winning goal came from an own goal by Delaney. The Gunners face a tough encounter at home against Liverpool next weekend.
