Mesut Ozil was in an upbeat mood following Thursday morning’s training session.
The 27-year-old stated that he was happy that the squad is nearly fully fit once again.
Ozil posted a selfie of himself on Instagram along with the caption, “Driving home from today’s training session … Happy that almost the whole squad is fit again.”
Both Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere are nearing a return for Arsenal while Alexis Sanchez returned from his hamstring injury last weekend.
Ozil has 16 assists in the Premier League this season and is just four assists away from matching Henry’s record record tally of 20.
The Germany international put in a disappointing display during his sides loss at the hands of rivals Chelsea last weekend. Arsenal have now slipped down to third place and are just two points ahead of their bitter rivals Tottenham.
Arsenal take on Burnley in the FA Cup this weekend and Southampton in the Premier League next week.
