Mesut Özil has responded to his critics with a stunning free-kick to put his side 2-0 ahead against Liverpool in the Premier League today.
The Germany international was spotted practicing free-kicks before the game and the work paid off in the 40th minute of the game when he scored a perfectly placed free-kick.
The Gunners ended the half 3-0 in-front with the other two goals coming from Alexis Sanchez and Bellerin.
Özil has four goals and seven assists in all competitions for Arsenal this season. Emre Can has one assist and one goals in 33 appearances for Liverpool this season.
