Mesut Ozil Arsenal v Everton - Premier League Arsenal 3-4-1-2

Mesut Ozil has returned to first team training ahead of Arsenal clash with Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend.

The Daily Mail have report that Ozil has overcome his injury and was present at the club’s London Colney training facility.

Ozil sat out of the Gunners last game with Stoke City due to a foot injury. Arsenal ended up drawing the game but have kept their place at the top of the league table.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also confirmed that Ozil is expected to return this weekend.

“Compared to last week at Stoke, we have no big problems. Ozil is available and with Sanchez the next two days will be decisive,” Wenger stated at a pre-match press conference (via Goal).

The 27-year-old has already provided 16 assists in the Premier League this season and is just four assists away from matching Thierry Henry’s record tally of 20.

Arsenal will remain at the top of the table if they defeat Chelsea on Saturday however, if the Gunners drop points they can be overtaken by both Manchester City and Leicester City.
