Arsenal playmaker Mesut Özil has been selected in the Evening Standard newspapers London Team of the Week.
The World Cup winner was included in the team of the week despite the Gunners losing 1-0 against Swansea City at the Emirates.
The Team of the Week is based on statistics provided by WhoScored.com.
Özil started for the Gunners and despite statistically being the best performing attacking based Arsenal he was unable to alter the scoreline.
The 26-year-old proved once again why he is one of the most highly rated distributers in the league with 106 passes at a 93 percent accuracy.
The World Cup winner also made five key passes and completed one successful dribble over the 90 minutes.
The Gunners are undefeated in 16 out of the last 20 games in which Özil has featured since returning from injury.
Özil has won two Vitality Player of the Month and one PFA Fans Player of the Month awards since the turn of the year.
