Mesut Ozil is expected to start in Arsenal’s clash with Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

The 27-year-old has been in sensational form of late with goals against Munich and Manchester United. The Germany international has made more assists than any other player in the Premier League.

The 27-year-old has set up 23 goals since sining for the Gunners from Real Madrid back in September 2013.

Arsenal defeated Munich at home a fortnight ago and are in need of point if they are to keep their qualification hopes alive.

The Gunners remained top of the Premier League table following their win over the Swans at the Liberty stadium. The World Cup winner has a total of eight assists and two goals in all competitions this season.
