Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to urge Arsenal fans to wear the Gunners Christmas jersey to their Premier League encounter with Norwich this weekend.
The 27-year-old posted a picture of himself wearing the jumper along with the following caption, “This Arsenal winter jumper is nuts! I would love to see everybody wearing it at our next home game. #winterjumper #winteriscoming #gift.”
Özil is currently in a rich vein of form and score Arsenal’s opening goal in Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb.
The 27-year-old received a rating of 8.9 from WhoScored for his performance against Zagreb.
Özil has scored in some of Arsenal’s most important goals this season netting against Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
The Gunners go into the groups final game needing a big win over Olympiakos. Arsenal need to beat the Greek Super League side by two goals if they are to qualify to the Last 16.
