Mesut Özil youth players lighting up FC Koln [divider]
FC Koln youth players Barış Sarıkaya and Anıl Çapkın have been impressing for the Bundesliga outfit this season.
The 18-year-old’s are both represented by Mesut Özil’s sports agency company Özil Marketing GmbH.
The company also represent the Arsenal star.
Özil recently shared a picture alongside Sarıkaya who plays on the right-wing on his Facebook social media account and praising the youngster for his recent performances.
“Great performance, Baris Sarikaya – 5 assists in 6 matches. keep it up, bro! #FCKölnYouth,” Özil said.
Eighteen-year-old right-back Çapkın has two goals and two assists for Köln’s youth side this season.
Both players were born in Germany to Turkish parents, just like Özil.
Sarıkaya and Çapkın can both represent either Turkey or Germany.
Çapkın is already a regular first team right-back played for the Turkish national team youth sides however, Sarıkaya has yet to decide who he will represent.
Both have been scouted by a number of English and German teams and the duo have just another year left on their contract.
Özil recently replaced his father with his sibling as chief executive officer of his sports agency.
The 25-year-old also employs media consultant Roland Eitel and Haimspel, an agency which looks after his Facebook page.
The Arsenal star also recently joined his teammate Jack Wilshere on the books of Wasserman Media Group headed by Fahri Ecvet.
