Arsenal also come into tonight’s game in need of a win. The Gunners are in sixth place, ten points behind fourth placed Man City.

Arsene Wenger’s side suffered a humiliating 3-0 defeat at the hands of Crystal Palace last weekend. Ozil played the full 90 minutes against Palace and was roundly criticised for his performance.

The 28-year-old is available for selection for tonight’s encounter with Middlesbrough.

Wenger will however be unable to call upon Petr Cech, Santi Cazorla and Lucas Perez due to injures.

Arsenal go into this evening’s game without any suspensions.
