Milosevic – ‘I have already fallen in love with Beşiktaş’ [divider]
Beşiktaş defender Alex Milosevic revealed that he has already fallen in love with the club.
“I first visited Istanbul in 2013 with the U21 Swedish national team against Turkey,” Milosevic told Fanatik.
“So I know that Istanbul is a great city, also my friend Abdul Khalili at Mersin and Erkan Zengin at Sweden also told me that I would settle in well in Turkey.”
Milosevic also revealed that friends in Sweden also recommended that he move to Turkey.
“I have Turkish friends in Sweden who also advised me to join Beşiktaş,” Milosevic said.
“The response has already been fantastic, there has been so much interest in the media and social media. The fans have shown me so much love that I am already in love with the club.”
The Swedish international signed a 3.5 year deal with the Black Eagles on a €1 million move from AIK Stockholm.
Milosevic provided two assists and scored three goals in 28 appearances for AIK Stockholm this season.
