Milosevic to undergo an operation on broken foot

Besiktas’s new transfer Alexander Milosevic will undergo an operation to treat his broken foot.

The Swedish international suffered a foot injury and was forced to come off the field of play during Besiktas’ 0-0 draw with Caykur Rizespor in the Turkish Cup.

Besiktas confirmed the news on their official website but did not specify when they expect Milosevic to be fit to play again.

The Swedish international played for Serbia at U-17 level but later switched allegiance to his country of birth Sweden.

The 22-year-old defender of Serbian origin joined the Black Eagles from AIK after spending four years playing for the Swedish side.

Milosevic signed a 3.5 year deal with the Black Eagles last month.

The powerful defender created two assists and scored three goals in 28 appearances for AIK this season before his move to Turkey.
