Mourinho admits he can't stop Besiktas target Cech joining Arsenal

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that he cannot stop Petr Cech joining Arsenal or any other rival Premier League outfit.

Speaking to TalkSport Mourinho said: “If it’s in my hands, he would never go. He would never go to big clubs and fantastic teams, big candidates who want to win the Premier League.

“I would never let him go, but it’s not in my hands.”

The Czech Republic international goalkeeper has been replaced by Thibaut Courtois as Chelsea’s first-choice keeper and is expected to leave at the end of the season in search of regular first team football.

Arsenal have been closely linked with Cech. In face the experienced keeper in 99 percent certain to join the North London based club according to the Daily Star.

Manchester United and PSG are also reported to be interested in the Chelsea keeper.

Beşiktaş have been in talks with Cech according to Lig TV. The Turkish Süper Lig broadcasters stated that Cech’s agent Viktor Kolar has been in negotiations with the Black Eagles.

The Istanbul giants are expected to invest in a keeper in the summer after a series of goalkeeping errors cost the team in Europe and the league this season.
