Newcastle United bookies favourites to sign 24-goal star striker Cenk Tosun, £10m deal being discussed
Newcastle United appear to be in pole position in the race to sign Turkey international striker Cenk Tosun.
Both Crystal Palace and Newcastle have been linked with deadline day moves for the Besiktas ace.
According to Ladbrokes, Newcastle United are heavy favourites to land the striker tonight. The Magpies have been priced at 4/1 to sign Cenk. Meanwhile Crystal Palace have been priced as 4/7 outsiders.
Cenk scored an impressive 24 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions for Besiktas last season.The Turkey international has hit the ground running in this campaign with two goals in four games.

Rafa Benitez’s side have tabled an £8m bid for the prolific striker this morning.
Newcastle are in desperate need of more firepower in attack after failing to score in two if their first three Premier League games.
Cenk has scored five goals in 19 appearances for the Turkey national team.
The Magpies face Swansea City when the Premier League returns on September 10.
