Newcastle v Arsenal – Probable starting line-up's – Ozil set to start

Arsenal kick off this weekend’s action when the take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park in Saturday;s early kick-off.

Mesut Ozil is set to retain his place in Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up despite receiving criticism this week.

Newcastle legend Micky Quinn has stated that Mesut Özil does not have the quality to play at a top Premier League side.

“He’s too slow for the Premier League, he’s too one paced,” Quinn told talkSPORT.

Özil was described as his sides ‘weak link’ according to the BBC Radio 5 pundit Steve Claridge earlier this week.

Gary Neville also criticised the 26-year-old saying, “[Özil and Alexis Sanches] Good players, fantastic players but I don’t think Özil has ever taken responsibility for his teammates.”

The Gunners have gotten off to a slow start in the Premier League this season having just won one of their first three games.
