Nigeria U-23 national side set to train in Turkey [divider]
The Nigeria U-23 national team Samson Siasia has requested for a training tour of Turkey.
“We need to camp in a place where the team will not be distracted and will be able to face our programmes fully without any hindrances and hitches. I will really appreciate if the NFF can make it possible for us to camp in Turkey where I hope to put out training in full gear without distractions,” Siasia was quoted as saying by Nigerian newspaper Leadership.
“This will also make it possible for the invited foreign-based players to join us without experiencing the rigours of having to travel down to Abuja. But everything depends on the decision of the Nigeria Football Federation.”
Siasia is reported to have submitted his request to the Nigeria Football Federation.
