Nigerian forward John Chibuike scores first goal of 2015 for Gaziantepspor [divider]

Nigerian forward John Chibuike scored his first goal of 2015 for Gaziantepspor in the 2-0 win over Trabzonspor.

Chibuike controlled Erdem Şen’s cross and hit a powerful shot on the half volley to open the scoring on 34 minutes.

The goal was the 24-year-old’s first in 2015 but his fourth in the league overall.

Chibuike has a total of four goals and three assists for the Falcons in all competitions this season.

Gaziantepspor moved into ninth place on 31 points following the win over Trabzonspor.

The Black Sea Storm missed a chance to close the gap with fourth placed Fenerbahçe to seven points.

Trabzonspor remain in sixth place on 40 points following the loss. Başakşehir are fifth on goal difference and Bursaspor are fourth on 41 points after beating Balıkesirspor 4-2 on Friday.

Gaziantepspor travel to Mersin next to take on Mersin İdman Yurdu. The Mediterannean based side are currently in seventh place on 32 points.
