Okan Buruk feels let down by players [divider]
Gaziantepspor manager Okan Buruk admitted he felt let down by his players following the 2-2 draw against Tuzlaspor in the Turkish Cup.
“I try to give everybody in the squad a chance, the cup gives us a good opportunity for this,” Buruk said.
“However, unfortunately not everybody seems to realise the chance they are being given.
“This is a chance to prove themselves but they are not putting in enough effort.
“I expected more from the boys yesterday, had they performed to the level we expect at this club they may have found themselves playing more regularly in the league as well.
“They let themselves and the team down, it was disappointing, we must learn from our mistakes and move forward.”
Gaziantepspor remain in second place following the draw against Tuzlaspor in Group A of the Turkish Cup.
