Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has stated that he is pleased to have Mesut Ozil as a teammate.
The 27-year-old playmaker has set up 17 of his teammates goals this season; the highest assist rate in the League this season.
“I try to make good movements and he always passes the ball to the right place at the right time,” Giroud told Arsenal’s official website.
“He’s a fantastic ‘assist man’ so I’m pleased to have him on our side.”
Ozil has created 105 chances this season and has maintained a passing accuracy of 88%. The former Real Madrid man has also scored six goals for the Gunners this term.
Giroud has provided four assists and scored 18 goals in 36 appearances for Arsenal this season.
