On-loan Chelsea defender delighted with 'fight' shown following win against Eskisehirspor

Kasımpaşa defender Kenneth Omeruo revealed that he was delighted with the fight his side showed against Eskişehirspor.

The Istanbul minnows beat EsEs 3-0 to move into joint second place just one point behind leaders Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor who are tied on 10 points.

The defeat was EsEs’ first home loss of the 2015-16 campaign while it was the third time Kasımpaşa have kept a clean sheet this season.

Omeruo was given his fifth consecutive start and he excelled against EsEs making important interceptions and the joint highest number of clearances (4).

The Nigerian international shared a picture celebrating one of the goals on his Instagram account alongside the caption: “Great away game win 0-3 great fight guys #Kasimpasa 3 #eskisehirspor 0.”

The young defender has started every game for Kasımpaşa this season helping his side keep the joint best defensive record in the league having conceded just two goals this season.

Omeruo was one of 26 Chelsea players to end up on loan this summer. Marko Marin is the second Chelsea loanee to play in Turkey having signed for Trabzonspor over the summer.
