On-loan Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic will miss the mini-Istanbul derby between Fenerbahce and Kasımpasa today due to injury.

Markovic tore his hamstring during the 4-2 defeat against Antalyaspor last week and is expected to be out until the major Istanbul derby against fellow title challengers Besiktas.

The Serbian international has been in impressive form for the Yellow Canaries and had secured a starting position in the team until his injury.

Fenerbahçe will also be without defensive midfield duo Mehmet Topal and Josef de Souza.

On-loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo is almost certain to start for Kasımpaşa.
